Utrecht (Ultrajecti), Apud Guilielmum à Poolsum, 1698, 8vo., full parchment spitsel binding, [68]+544+[56] pp., smudged and worn parchment, on the inside of the cover both hinges are broken causing the front endpapers, the last signature and the cover to come loose exposing the spine. The bookblock has clear printwork with references to Greek and Hebrew words or phrases and hardly any stains. With a woodcut vignette on the titlepage and some lovely decorative initials and head- and tailpieces. With handwritten ex libris notes in ink: "Ex libris" followed by two sets of initials, one written over the other and therefore only partly legible (Z.H.M and H.A?), then "anno(?)" and the year "1749". Judaica.l In Latin, fourth edition with annotations by Johann Heinrich Reitz and two dissertations by Hermannus Witsius (preface).

Amsterdam, Jan ten Hoorn, 1690, 8vo., half linen binding with marbled paper (rebound) and marbled edges, [30]+408 pp., the front hinge is is loosening on the inside exposing the original spine, the construction of the bookblock is fairly solid, some browning, three small holes in the titlepage. Printer's mark on the titlepage. Motto not entirely legible due to two holes, but it starts with "Brande ons (...)" and refers to Luc. The text is written in Dutch but there are references in Latin, Greek and Hebrew. The author died before this second edition was published and Johannes Swartte dedicated the book to the author's brother and sister (Margaretha Teelmans and Hermannus Teelman).According to STCN only available in two Dutch libraries (Amsterdam: UB and VU).
